On a cold and stormy night in the year 1969 during a miracle crusade, Pastor Allen Joseph received the call of God. Oblivious to his surround-ings, the spirit of God transported him to a vision revealing clusters of people in the palm of God’s hand. God showed him each group with different needs, the sick, the hungry, the alco-holic, the prostitute, the abused, the poor, the outcast. In essence, all those who needed the Master’s touch, and the voice of God, commanding him to go out and minister to these people; hence the trademark of Revival Ministries came to fruition.
There had to be a time of preparation, and in 1983 in a garage with 15 people, Revival Ministries was born. The church expanded rapidly and had to move to a classroom and 2 years later, to the Methodist Church Hall in Unit 7, Chatsworth. During these years, God had given Pastor Allen Joseph a vision to own Twin City. He carried photos in his pocket album for more than 5 years. His dream materialized in 1991 when phenomenal growth to 200 members forced him to move again, this time to Twin City the permanent home of Revival Ministries. The presence of this vibrant church has irrevocably changed and charged the atmosphere in this once bedraggled community. Within a period of 15 years, the church has grown from 200 to a membership of 7000 members resulting in 3 services being held on a Sunday morning.
